Some brief thoughts on Day 1 of the Life Purpose Institute 5-day intensive coach training as part of the Life Coach Certification process. From Springhill Suites Lobby in Atlanta/Buckhead.

Met a lot of really great people today and learned some practical strategies for beginning coaching relationships and helping clients identify their issues, break them down, and start setting goals for the coaching relationship. Some of what I learned reiterated things that were covered in my M.Ed. program back at Clemson and others were similar, but really coming at the dynamic from a different angle.

I really appreciate what I learned today and think it will help me better define what I want from being a coach, and how to get there. Overall, a great day.
