Okay, so the radio show isn't really on the radio. But I do like me some stock photos, so enjoy the retro vibe of this one!

Okay, so the radio show isn't really on the radio. But I enjoy the retro vibe of this one anyway!

I recently registered with BlogTalkRadio to host a show online on college life topics. For the new Higher Ed Life Coach talk show, I am seeking guests for a variety of college life topics, including:

  • Helicopter Parents and the People Who Deal with Them! Ideally, this would feature a higher ed professional with some perspectives on the challenges presented by today’s parents, by a parent or two who would like to defend their tactics in interacting with their student, and a student or two who could provide perspectives on what it is like to have a really involved parent.
  • Social Media and College. Guests could  include students and parents who connect using social media, students and parents appalled by the other’s use of social media, and professionals who can share some pros and cons on social media for students, parents and higher ed professionals in this constantly connected era.
  • Discipline Issues and Parental Involvement. Hopefully, this could be a discussion of pros and cons of parental involvement in university discipline processes.

If you are interested in being a guest, or can recommend someone who might be a good guest for one or more of these topics, please e-mail me at sean@higheredlifecoach.com or send me a direct tweet to hghredlifecoach on Twitter.

Once I have some guests lined up, I’ll post a schedule, information on how to listen, and more information on the tentative guests. Stay tuned!
